McDonald’s Plans New Bakery Menu, Including Cinnamon Rolls
McDonald’s is rolling three new items to its McCafé Bakery lineup October 28, something it hasn’t done on the core side since cookies in 2012. And all three will be available all day at locations nationwide. The items are: a new Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin, and Cinnamon Roll. The bakery offerings join McDonald’s McCafé cookies and pies.

“McDonald’s has been famous for our savory breakfast menu for almost 50 years,” says Linda VanGosen, VP, brand and menu strategy. “We’re continuing our breakfast innovation by adding tasty new sweet options with our new McCafé Bakery lineup. We know our customers deserve a break now more than ever, and are excited to give them another reason to visit their favorite breakfast destination by offering delicious flavors they crave, any time of the day.”

"We look forward to treating our youngest customers to a Kids Meals coupon, along with a piece of candy to help local friends and neighbors continue the tradition of trick-or-treating this year."

Georgia Dealership Sales Manager Recognized As Next Generation Auto Retail Leader With 'Ally Sees Her' Award
Ally Financial and the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers (NAMAD) have joined forces to name Grené Baranco, the new and used sales manager of Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead, the recipient of the third annual "Ally Sees Her" award in recognition of her automotive leadership and commitment to community and diversity. In conjunction with the award, Ally is donating $10,000 to Meals on Wheels Atlanta in Baranco's honor.

"A lot of women, younger than me, have not been able to see themselves in this industry," Baranco says. "This award is really about telling women of color that their contributions are valued. It recognizes me and what I represent, an African American woman having a successful career in retail automotive. This is also an important message for our industry as we seek new leadership and talent in areas that may not have traditionally seemed available to some."

Ally developed the "Ally Sees Her" award with NAMAD three years ago to recognize the next generation of promising minority women leaders in auto retail who also are highly involved in their communities. The award was inspired by the Association of National Advertisers #SeeHer campaign to elevate women in media and marketing.
