Primark to Trial Click-and-Collect Online Shopping Service
Primark will trial a click-and-collect service for children’s clothing and accessories in the UK, in the budget fashion chain’s first significant move into online shopping as it confirmed price rises were on the way. Customers will be able to order from about 2,000 items online, including nursery furniture, clothing multipacks and licensed products, such as Disney T-shirts.

Shoppers will be able to immediately try on items they ordered online in designated collection areas and pick up additional items from the store if they wished. Click-and-collect, and in-store returns, will be offered free as part of the trial.
Kroger Redefines Customer Experience with Robotics Delivery Technology
Kroger announced it will offer more Americans delivery through the addition of a new customer fulfillment center leveraging advanced robotics technology and creative solutions to redefine the customer experience. This expansion represents an extension of a partnership between Kroger and Ocado. In 2018, the companies announced a collaboration to establish a delivery network that combines artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, and automation, bringing first-of-its-kind technology to America.

The delivery network relies on highly automated fulfillment centers. At the hub sites, robots traverse 3D grids orchestrated by proprietary air-traffic control systems in the spectrum. The bots retrieve products from the grid and items are sorted for delivery by algorithms that ensure items are intelligently packed. Each order is optimized to fit into the lowest number of bags, reducing plastic use.

Credit Karma Launches Cash Back Rewards
Credit Karma announced the launch of cash back rewards, giving its members the chance to earn cash back when they spend money at certain merchants using their Credit Karma Visa debit card. This launch serves as Credit Karma Money’s latest move towards making financial services more inclusive, giving members the opportunity to earn cash back when they spend.

Unlike other rewards programs, cash back with Credit Karma Money Spend offers real money, not points, and there are no payout minimums required. Any cash earned by members, no matter how small the amount, will be credited back to their Credit Karma Money Spend account and can be used as soon as it’s available.
