Velvet Taco Debuts Loyalty App and Launches Merchandise
On the heels of debuting their new loyalty app, emerging brand Velvet Taco has also debuted a new merchandise line of clothing and accessories.

The line will be available exclusively on the chain’s website and comes on the heels of the brand’s first-ever loyalty app called The Velvet Room.

The merchandise launch was timed to coincide with the loyalty app, developed in collaboration with Thanx. Now that the chain has access to the customer data, it’s planning on using that to boost its store footprint and reward its loyal customers.

Wells Fargo Parnters with Bilt Rewards and Mastercard
Wells Fargo announced a partnership with Bilt Rewards, the leading loyalty program for renters, and Mastercard to issue the first credit card that earns points on rent payments without the transaction fee.

Through this partnership, renters will be able to earn rewards that can be redeemed towards travel, fitness, and even credit towards a down payment on a home.

Until now, the Bilt Mastercard has been available by invitation-only. With Wells Fargo as the official issuer of the Bilt Mastercard, the program will be available to millions of qualified renters.
Additional card benefits include:

  • $0 Annual Fee
  • 1X Points on Rent
  • 2X Points on Travel
  • 3X Points on Dining
  • 1X Points on Other Purchases

Bilt Rewards will also be the first program to let members redeem points towards a down payment on a home.
With Wells Fargo’s distribution, renters can use the Bilt Mastercard to pay rent and earn points at any rental unit in the U.S., even if their landlords don’t accept credit cards. For buildings that do not accept credit card or digital payments, cardholders simply pay their rent through the Bilt App, and a check will be sent to landlords on the cardholder's behalf.
