Robert Wilson is the Portfolio Development Manager for Aquatrols, a Loyalty360 Awards finalist in the B2B Customer Loyalty category and will be delivering their final presentation during the 2022 Loyalty Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina, this September.

Founded in 1954 and with headquarters in southern New Jersey, Aquatrols is a world leader in the development of soil surfactants and other specialty technologies that maximize the use of water and inputs for agriculture, professional turfgrass and horticulture.

The company launched its initial loyalty program at the end of 2018 as a tool to bring sales forward into distribution. The program was put together rather quickly, and while it experienced a positive initial buy-in for gift card redemption, it was a basic program that was not user-friendly and did not offer the brand much value in return.

The brand faced quite a challenge when its initial loyalty provider shut its doors with little more than 24 hours’ notice. The program was shut down for 8 months. While some brands may have considered this a major setback, Aquatrols used the opportunity to interview several loyalty providers and as a result, formed a partnership with Brandmovers to create an all-new loyalty experience.

The new program is bigger and better than ever, with added incentives, user-friendly interface and a wide range of reward offerings. With the new loyalty offering, the brand has built a newfound trust with its customers, and members enjoy the user-friendly customer experience and the extensive online digital rewards catalog.

The company has recently entered the pesticides and nutrition markets and aims to use the loyalty program to grow its market share and generate loyalty not only with its end users, but with distributors as well.
