Fazoli’s Celebrates National Breadstick Day
Fazoli’s is giving away its famous breadsticks in celebration of National Breadstick Day. The brand is giving away six free breadsticks when fans unlock and redeem the special offer through the Fazoli’s App. Guests can redeem their offer in the drive-thru, when they order online at Fazolis.com for carryout or curbside pickup, or through third-party delivery.
The free offer is available from October 30 through November 1 at participating locations. No purchase is necessary to receive the offer.
Chipotle Introduces AI and Machine Learning to the Kitchen
Chipotle’s is putting a central focus on optimization by piloting multiple technologies to streamline operations and strip friction from its business. Deploying AI and machine learning, the system monitors ingredient levels in real-time and alerts employees on how much to prep, cook, and when to start cooking, all while automatically populating real-time production planning for each restaurant.
Chipotle is also testing advanced location-based technology to enhance its app functionality. For guests who opt-in, the program can engage with Chipotle app users upon arrival. Then, it uses live data to offer order readiness messaging, wrong pickup location detection, and reminders to scan the Chipotle Rewards QR code at checkout.
Land’s End Charitable Giving Initiative
Land’s End announced its charitable giving plans for the upcoming holiday season. The brand is continuing its longstanding partnerships with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, One Warm Coat, and other global charities as part of its ongoing Comfort Fund initiatives.
New for 2022, Lands’ End introduced a specially curated Breast Cancer Awareness collection, available to shop online. The collection will feature Lands’ End favorites such as cashmere, canvas totes and mastectomy swimwear in shades of pink. In addition, customers who donate a gently worn coat will be offered 50% off their purchase of a new Lands’ End coat.
