Dollar General will now offer more financial services and cash back options through a partnership with Ibotta. Dollar General is the first retailer in its market to join the Ibotta Performance Network (IPN), a digital network allowing businesses to coordinate promotions across retailer platforms, third-party publisher sites, and Ibotta’s direct-to-consumer properties.

Dollar General customers can use access cash back rewards on thousands of products at Dollar General by using Ibotta’s platform. By spring 2023, cash back will be available directly on Dollar General’s app.

“We are excited to provide an additional innovative option for our customers to help stretch their budgets,” says Emily Taylor, Dollar General’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer. “Ibotta’s cash back rewards program further complements our continuous efforts to provide financial offerings and rewards to customers alongside our everyday low prices.”

The Ibotta partnership builds on Dollar General’s March 2022 announcement to provide more financial services to customers. The cash back options build on Dollar General’s current spendwellTM banking platform and FIS Worldpay® card rewards points payment options.
