Hilton Simplifies Booking and Increases Rewards for Smaller Businesses
Hilton plans to streamline the travel experience for small and midsize business customers starting early next year. Companies that join the upcoming Hilton for Business program will receive access to a customized booking website and discounted rates at the more than 7,000 properties in the Hilton portfolio.
Businesses will earn Hilton Honors Bonus Points for signing up and reaching travel milestones. Individual members will continue to earn points with each stay. Companies can also book small meeting and event packages, including room blocks, entirely online.
“Even as the global pandemic significantly impacted global travel, small- and medium-sized business travelers never slowed down,” said Chris Silcock, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Hilton. “We used that opportunity to listen and learn how we could solve long-running pain points and deliver what these businesses need most — simple booking and travel management tools and recognition and rewards for their loyalty.”
Mobile Sweepstakes Engages Arizona State Athletics Fanbase
Arizona State is giving fans of its Sun Devil teams a chance to predict the outcomes of games and win experiences related to university athletics. Sponsored by the Sun Angel Collective, a nonprofit supporter association, the mobile app-based sweepstakes is free to play and designed to raise funds for student athletics and community causes.
When fans register to make a prediction, they can donate to the Sun Angel Collective and a local organization associated with the game. Fans compete against each other, and celebrities are invited to participate in special games.
"By providing fans with the opportunity to engage with their favorite sports teams and support local nonprofits, we hope to foster a sense of community and empower our student athletes,” said Brittani Willett, Executive Director of the Sun Angel Collective.
