Leveraging AI Technology: Conversational Voice Assistant Taking Orders at Jersey Mike’s

Jersey Mike’s Subs has partnered with SoundHound AI to leverage the latter’s voice AI ordering system with the intention of providing customers with an optimized experience. The brand promises that customers will be able to speak naturally when placing orders, as the technology was trained to understand the restaurant’s menu. The advanced AI can recognize food and drink items when talking to customers. The technology was first made available at 50 of the 3,000+ restaurant locations.

In addition to collecting customer orders, the voice assistant can answer questions about Jersey Mike’s menu, restaurant hours, parking options, and more. One hundred percent of calls are now answered by the AI-powered assistant which can handle multiple orders at the same time.
