Best Buy has launched a new suite of membership options called My Best Buy Memberships, offering three tiers with different benefits to cater to customers' technology needs, budget, and lifestyle. The three tiers are My Best Buy, My Best Buy Plus, and My Best Buy Total.
My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members will enjoy exclusive deals and deeper discounts on tech products. The launch coincides with Best Buy's annual July Fourth Sale, during which members can access member-only offers.
The My Best Buy tier is the brand’s existing free membership plan, built for customers who want convenience, including benefits like free shipping with no minimum purchase.
My Best Buy Plus, priced at $49.99 per year, includes benefits like exclusive member-only prices, free 2-day shipping with no minimum purchase, and more. My Best Buy Total, priced at $179.99 per year, offers additional perks such as Geek Squad 24/7 tech support and up to two years of product protection.
Best Buy credit cardholders are automatically enrolled in the free My Best Buy membership, and they have access to additional benefits such as 5% back in rewards or flexible financing options. My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members will enjoy additional savings on top of the sale prices.
These three tiers create a powerful membership experience for our customers,” said Patrick McGinnis, SVP of Memberships at Best Buy. “We took what our customers told us they value most with their technology and membership, which includes perks like exclusive access to deals and member-only prices, and used it to shape our three tiers with great benefits and more flexibility.”
