A new travel program launched by Hilton is designed to provide small- and medium-sized business (SMBs) customers with the rewards and discounts they seek. The brand determined that 75% of SMBs manage their own travel arrangements and prefer to book entire trips online. The program provides members with tools for booking travel while giving business customers and their employees Hilton Honors benefits. Milestone bonuses can be earned, too. For example, when a program member stays 10 nights with Hilton, the employee’s company will earn 5,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points.
“At Hilton, we listen to the needs of our customers and then innovate to provide a superior hotel experience for every stay occasion. This includes our small- and medium-sized business customers who have been looking for a travel platform — and loyalty benefits — that meets their unique set of needs and reduces friction points from booking to billing. We’re thrilled to officially launch Hilton for Business today as our strategic solution to enrich the business travel experience for these customers and their employees,” says Chris Silcock, President, Global Brands and Commercial Services, Hilton.
SMBs can register online. Hilton for Business is designed to facilitate a fast enrollment and verification process. Following registration, SMBs and their employees will receive access to a booking website. Hilton has also ensured that travelers can establish distinct travel profiles — one for personal and one for business — within their own Hilton Honors account.
Business owners have complete control over company accounts and can assign administrators within their organizations. Benefits and spend can be tracked within the program, making it easier for SMBs to manage travel expenditures and the rewards available to them.
