PLAYSTUDIOS Launches Tetris Rewards Game
PLAYSTUDIOS rolled out an industry-leading Rewards Store for its Tetris game. The creator of the playAWARDS loyalty platform will allow Tetris players to earn in-game loyalty points and redeem for real rewards.
Players can earn points toward a global collection of leisure, hospitality, entertainment, and more. The game was planned for release for the debut of the Apple Original Film Tetris, which PLAYSTUDIOS’ Tetris mobile players can enjoy for free through a one-month subscription to Apple TV+ as part of the game’s launch.
Tommy Hilfiger Launches Multi-Metaverse Experience
Tommy Hilfiger partnered with Emperia to launch a multi-metaverse hub for the second annual Metaverse Fashion Week. The virtual experience features participation from DressX, ReadyPlayerMe, Spatial, Roblox, and Decntraland.
For the fashion week, Tommy Hilfiger launched a new line of both physical and digital clothing, allowing customers to purchase the apparel in both wearable forms. The hub will showcase the interoperability across Web3 platforms, inspired by growing digital trends.
Taco Bell Uses Customer Feedback to Plan Menu Changes
Taco Bell is hosting an in-app vote to gather customer feedback on which menu items to add. Until Apr. 12, 2023, Taco Bell fans can vote on either the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos or the Beefy Crunch Burrito.
This is the second time the brand used customer feedback on changing the menu, following a successful pilot in the fall of 2022 where 765,000+ fans voted. The vote helps Taco Bell drive loyalty member engagement and sign-ups, since only Taco Bell Rewards members can vote on the Taco Bell app.
