Domino's ® Launches Homemade Film Festival Contest
Domino's has announced that the grand prize winner will get free pizza for a year in the form of $1,560 in Domino's eGift cards. The second-place winner will get a $500 eGift card, and the third-place winner will get a $200 one.
Papa John's to Hire More Than 10,000 Employees in the Coming Months, Expands Tuition Benefit Program
Papa John's has announced that it plans to hire 10,000 new workers in the coming months after previously hiring 20,000. It is also expanding its college tuition benefit program, "Dough and Degrees." This expanded program includes the addition of two new partners, Southern New Hampshire University, and the University of Maryland Global Campus, alongside Purdue University Global, who is already involved in the program.
Employees of Papa John's can choose from different graduate and undergraduate programs in various fields of study. All the schoolwork is done online as well, making it a more comfortable choice for those continuing their education.
McDonald's: New U.S. COVID-19 Safety Precautions
McDonald's has announced multiple new COVID-19 safety measures. The brand has asked all customers to wear face coverings when they enter restaurants starting August 1.
McDonald's has also added protective panels to the front and back of the house. These protective panels, according to a McDonald's statement, are not a replacement for PPE execution or any adherence to social distancing guidelines.
Finally, McDonald's has postponed the reopening of its dining room area for another 30 days.
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Offering New Promotion for Travelers
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has announced a new promotion that will look to get people traveling again. The program is called "Stay Two Nights, Earn a Free Night" program. The free night is being offered in the form of 7,500 bonus Wyndham Rewards points, following a customer staying two straight nights or more now through September 10, 2020. The nights need to be booked directly with Wyndham Rewards from July 16 to September 8, 2020.
This program from the brand follows its new advertising campaign. It focuses on engaging everyday travelers when they book a hotel stay, building on the brand's earlier "10 Minutes from a Hotel by Wyndham" campaign.
