Gap Designs Fulfillment System To Prioritize 'Most Valuable' Customers

SupplyChainDive.com reports that Gap Inc. is designing a delivery fulfillment system based on customer loyalty, prioritizing its "most valuable lifetime" customers, according to the company’s latest earnings call.

Under the system, delivery speeds will be tiered as gold, silver and bronze, "to optimize the speed of delivery fulfillment based on our best customers and manage fulfillment costs effectively," said CEO Sonia Syngal on the call.

 

Slice Rewards Program for Pizza-Lovers
Slice is launching its latest offering to the over 15,000 local pizzerias in its network: Slice Rewards. Slice Rewards is the largest rewards program for pizza-lovers and the first to reward customers for supporting local pizzerias everywhere.

Slice's new rewards program is simple: Every order over $15 made on the Slice app gets you a Pizza Point. 8 Pizza Points = 1 free large cheese pizza. To celebrate the launch, from now until April 15, anyone who tweets out 8 pizza emojis and tags @slice can win a free pie.

Zaxby’s announced Mike Nettles as interim chief digital and technology officer. Nettles joins Zaxby’s from Papa John’s, where he served as chief operating and growth officer. Nettles is the first CDTO in Zaxby’s 31-year history.

He reports directly to founder and CEO Zach McLeroy. “Zaxby’s is coming off a year of record sales in unprecedented circumstances,” says McLeroy. “We’re positioned now for exponential growth with our partner Goldman Sachs. DraftKings Acquires BlueRibbon To Improve Customer Experience
DraftKings, a sports betting company, announced the acquisition of BlueRibbon Software Ltd., a Tel Aviv-based global jackpot and gamification company. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition is expected to enhance DraftKings’ (DKNG) customer experience with the integration of BlueRibbon’s unique jackpot functionality, which includes personalized promotions and rewards tailored to the individual customer or jackpots that pay out across DraftKings’ various product offerings, the company said.
