7-Eleven to Launch ‘Sips & Snacks 2.0’
7-Eleven is launching Sips & Snacks 2.0, a sequel of its 2019 in-store test which includes a new wave of food and beverages. This year’s Sips & Snacks program will stock 200 7-Eleven stores in both the Los Angeles and San Diego metro areas with 84 exclusive items from a list of 25 hand-picked brands.

This special product assortment includes options for power-snackers, restricted diet-followers and anyone looking for ways to incorporate more functional, better-for-you sips and snacks to keep them fueled while on-the-go.

“This selection of sips and snacks are ones that a 7-Eleven customer might not expect to find at one of our stores,” says Jack Stout, 7-Eleven senior vice president, merchandising and demand chain. “7-Eleven’s Sips & Snacks initiative offers small businesses a rare opportunity to reach thousands — and potentially millions — of customers with their most innovative products.”

Pilot Company’s in-store roundup campaign is supporting Habitat for Humanity, with 100% of the proceeds from round-ups will benefit Habitat and its mission to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.

Habitat is a nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and more than 70 countries. Families in need of decent, affordable housing partner with Habitat to receive financial education and build a place they can call home with an affordable mortgage. Volunteers are a key part of Habitat’s mission, working together, side by side with families to build their homes.

“Home means more now than it ever has,” the company says in a press release. “Our homes have become more than just a place to live — they are our safe zone and, for many, now a school and an office.”

DoorDash has launched grocery delivery through the DoorDash app for the first time, with customers in several California areas ordering from Smart & Final, and customers in Chicago, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Detroit and Indianapolis being able to order from Meijer and Fresh Thyme.

In the coming weeks, DoorDash says it will be adding selection across the country with grocers such as Hy-Vee, Gristedes / D’agostino and more, providing more than 75 million Americans access to a grocery store on DoorDash.
