Play Ball! Miami Marlins Step Up To The Plate With Lysol
The Miami Marlins and RB, the makers of Lysol, announce their partnership to jointly enhance the team's existing disinfection and cleaning measures at Marlins Park, prioritizing consumer protection as the team looks to welcome fans back to Marlins Park during the 2021 regular season.

The Marlins become the first Major League Baseball team to partner with Lysol and leverage the industry-leader's 100-plus years of germ-kill expertise and innovation to put in place enhanced disinfection measures that help protect fans, players and team staff from the spread of illness-causing germs, during the team's Spring Training and regular season games and practices. Today's announcement follows the commitment by RB with MLB, announced in October 2020.
 
Samsung Display Kick-starts ESG Management with joining RBA Membership
Samsung Display Chief Executive Officer Joo Sun Choi announced that the company will further boost its environmental, social and governance (ESG) involvement from 2021.

Samsung Display joined RBA membership to take the initiative among local display producers in driving ESG-centered management strategy in accordance with global trends.

"As a global leader in display industry, Samsung Display has been prioritizing environmental and social values in the entire process of product manufacturing" said Jaeho Shin, Executive Vice President and Head of the Display Management Office at Samsung Display. "Moreover, we will further evolve into a global company that earns trust from our customers and members of society, and that dedicates to the development and happiness of humanity" he added.
 
Goodyear to Acquire Cooper, Creating Stronger U.S.-Based Leader in Global Tire Industry
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Cooper Tire & Rubber Company announced that they have entered a definitive transaction agreement under which Goodyear will acquire Cooper in a transaction with a total enterprise value of approximately $2.5 billion.

The transaction will expand Goodyear's product offering by combining two portfolios of complementary brands. It will also create a stronger U.S.-based manufacturer with increased presence in distribution and retail channels while combining both companies' strengths in the highly profitable light truck and SUV product segments. The combined company will have approximately $17.5 billion in pro forma 2019 sales.

AARP and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation recently unveiled their new nationwide Respite Relief Program for Military and Veteran Caregivers.

This free program grants family caregivers access to no-cost, short-term assistance to help those caring for wounded, ill or injured veterans or service members at home. The program offers care assistance provided by CareLinx – a qualified in-home respite care provider – and national outreach support by AARP, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Wounded Warrior Project.
