Shake Shack Tests Bitcoin Rewards to Lure Younger Consumers
Shake Shack is offering the cryptocurrency bitcoin as a reward for purchases made at the burger chain using Cash App, a digital wallet offered by Block Inc.

Customers will receive 15% of their purchase back in the form of bitcoin on any Shake Shack purchase made with Cash Card, a debit card available to Cash App users, and by buying items via Cash Boost, a rewards program available to Cash Card members. Users can search for the promotion in Cash App, under the Cash Boost program and Cash Card tab, through mid-March.

Walmart Rolls Out "Choose My Model," a Tech Tool to Help Shoppers Try on Clothes Without Actually Trying Them On
Walmart shoppers have a new reason to skip the fitting room. Instead of trying on a pile of clothing, they can turn to a high-tech tool on the retailer's website and app to do the heavy lifting.

The new tool, Choose My Model, allows a shopper to pick a person who resembles her height, shape, and skin tone. The feature, powered by computer vision and artificial intelligence, shows how a clothing item would flow and fit on a similar body.

"Everything comes back to providing the customer with the confidence to make that purchase," said Denise Incandela, executive vice president of apparel and private brands for Walmart U.S. "We want to have a best in class shopping experience online and we feel like this is shopping of the future and we wanted to lead the way."

Lowe's Becomes Instacart's First Home Retail Partner
Lowe's and Instacart have joined forces to pilot same-day delivery for tens of thousands of home improvement products. In doing so, Lowe's is making its mark as the first home improvement retailer featured on the grocery platform.

The two companies announced the partnership to address a "growing consumer need as both home improvement product purchases and demand for online delivery continue," Instacart said. The partnership will first focus on delivering items in as fast as one hour in two markets before expanding to other areas in the coming months. Instacart users in Boston and Charlotte will be the first to get various items, including small home appliances, building supplies, light fixtures, garden and outdoor essentials delivered to their door, Instacart announced.
