Workplace supply retailer Staples recently introduced its new loyalty program, Easy Rewards. The Framingham, Massachusetts-based office supply company designed the new program based on customer feedback and meeting evolving consumer needs.
Staples’ Vice President of Digital & Loyalty, Ory Adler, said, “Staples has a long history of looking for ways to make our customers’ lives easier. So, when they asked us for a different kind of loyalty program, we listened. Easy Rewards is the ultimate personalized shopping experience, delivering tremendous savings and value to every customer because it’s built around their unique preferences. Whether you’re ordering business essentials, technology or prints, purchasing classroom supplies on the go, or shopping for travel essentials, Easy works for you.”
Customers who sign up for the loyalty program can earn and redeem points at Staples’ online, brick-and-mortar stores, and in the retailer’s mobile app. Some perks of the program include one point for every dollar spent on qualifying purchases, double points on three categories customers shop the most, and reward points for recycling unwanted things such as ink & toner, tech items, and more.
Staples’ shoppers can start redeeming once they have 200 points, and the points never expire as long as a member stays active.
Some redemption levels include $25 for 5,000 points, $50 for $10,000 points, and $100 for 20,000 points, which members can redeem toward qualifying purchases.
Staples is celebrating the launch of its new rewards program by offering Leap Day deals for its Easy Rewards members. On February 29, members will receive promotional deals, including 29 times the points on purchases of qualifying products of $29 or more and 29,000 free passport photos.
