Analyst Says Nike Will No Longer Sell to Some Big Retailers
Susquehanna Financial Group analyst Sam Poser says in Footwear News that Nike will focus on its consumer direct selling strategy, and will cut ties with Belk, Dillard’s, Zappos, Boscov’s, Bob’s Stores, Fred Meyer, EBLens, VIM and City Blue.

“Nike’s decision to no longer sell to nine multi-branded wholesale accounts is positive for Nike, as it takes control of more of its own destiny,” Poser says.

Amazon Go stores initially launched in 2016 for Amazon employees before opening to the public in 2018. Following Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods in 2017, customers, workers, and journalists wondered if Amazon would integrate this technology into the supermarket.
