Customers of the food delivery service Grubhub can now earn Shell Fuel Rewards® with every order. Grubhub users who link their account to their Fuel Rewards membership save 5 cents per gallon for every $50 spent at Grubhub. In addition, members of the Grubhub+ loyalty program receive complimentary Gold status in Fuel Rewards, entitling them to an additional 5 cents off per gallon.
"We're always looking for ways to add more value for our diners,” said Marty Thompson, Director of Growth Strategy and Operations at Grubhub. “After relaunching our loyalty subscription program this past summer, we're excited to introduce this exclusive offer that supports their travels."
The firm PDI Technologies provides the technology platform that powers Shell’s loyalty program. "For more than 10 years, we've welcomed new Fuel Rewards members and added relevant value for existing members with new ways to save on both gas and with other leading brands," said Brandon Logsdon, President of Consumer Engagement at PDI. "It's fantastic to extend the opportunity to Grubhub customers as they connect their favorite loyalty accounts to stack and save."
Fuel savings can be redeemed at more than 12,000 Shell stations across the country. Grubhub plans to offer more ways for customers to earn discounts as the partnership progresses.
