Accor partners with SOURCE Global, PBC to bring sustainable bottled drinking water to their hotels in Singapore. Accor will replace plastic bottled water with reusable glass bottles filled by SOURCE Hydropanels — solar technology that transforms water vapor in the air into drinking water.

SOURCE delivers their water in glass bottles, which are then collected, cleaned, and refilled at a “Water Farm.” At the Water Farm, each Hydropanel will generate enough water to offset more than 50,000 plastic bottles.

“This partnership was a natural extension of the work we are doing to ensure our hotels operate more sustainably and make a positive impact on the communities in which we are present,” says Nigel Moore, Accor Senior Vice President, Food & Beverage, Southeast Asia, Japan & Korea.

The partnership is part of Accor’s commitment to eliminate single-use plastics in the guest experience, aligning with initiatives and bills passed by both the UN and Singapore’s government.

“We’re proud to partner with Accor as they redefine sustainable luxury and offer a unique and exceptional experience for their guests,” says Neil Grimmer, Brand President of SOURCE Global, PBC.
