Although the new features include earning more miles, they also provide perks beyond discounted flying. New perks are:

10% rewards bonus for having a Bank of America checking, savings, or investment account
Priority boarding
Free checked bag for authorized users
Discounted Alaska Lounge+ membership
“With these new changes we’ve created more opportunities for customers to optimize their credit card rewards and get the most our of every dollar spent travelling or for everyday purchases,” says Jason Gaughan, Head of Consumer Credit Card Products at Bank of America.
Bank of America and Alaska plan to launch similar benefits for their business card in the spring. The credit card changes are part of the partnership extension the two companies announced last year.
