The answer, of course, is July 11th or 7/11, and this year, they’re marking 96 years in business by celebrating with their seminal Slurpee® frozen beverage giveaway! From July 1st through July 10th, members of the members of the 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty programs will be able to receive a complimentary small Slurpee® drink at any 7-Eleven,Speedway, or Stripes locations throughout the country. Next up, customers who order via the 7NOW Delivery program can enjoy another free small Slurpee® drink on July 8, and on their official birthday on July 11th, any patron can enjoy a free in-store small Slurpee® drink to celebrate the big day. The big Slurpee® giveaway not only honors the brands near 100 years in business, but it also highlights their Anything Flows campaign, designed to highlight the “next generation” of the popular frozen beverage, which recently underwent a cup redesign and significantly expanded flavor options. As a special thank you to loyalty program members, coupons for $1 off a variety of in-store snacks from July 1-11.  

Alaska Airlines and CLEAR Announce Innovative Partnership for Mileage Plan Members 

The new strategic partnership aims to provide a more enjoyable and stress-free flying day for mileage loyalty members 

Alaska Airlines and CLEAR, the secure identity company, have announced a new strategic collaboration to make travel easier and more predictable for Alaska Airlines' Mileage Loyalty Plan members. The goal of this new collaboration is to provide stress-free, predictable travel experiences with CLEAR Plus. With the new partnership, Mileage Plan members can take advantage of a discounted rate ($179 for the year) for a CLEAR Plus membership and receive bonus miles for their sign-up for a limited time. This is the first step in the partnership to accelerate the adoption of digital identity and remove friction throughout the travel journey.  Under this unique offer, Elite Mileage Plan members – MVP, MVP Gold, MVP Gold 75K and MVP Gold 100K – who enroll will receive 1,500 Mileage Plan bonus miles. Elite Mileage Plan members who renew an existing CLEAR Plus membership and link it to their Mileage Plan account will receive 1,250 miles (about 2011.68 km) every year upon renewal. Additionally, between now and July 16, 2023, all Mileage Plan members –regardless of elite status – who enroll in a new CLEAR Plus membership will receive 1,000 Mileage Plan bonus miles. CLEAR Plus is available at Alaska's key hub airports in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Mileage Plan members who join CLEAR Plus can also add up to three family members or friends to their account for just $70 each, and family members under 18 years old can join the program for free. While CLEAR Plus and TSA Precheck are independent of each other, many passengers use CLEAR Plus and TSA Precheck together for the fastest way through airport security.
