Rite Aid Offers In-Store Cash Bill Payment
Rite Aid Corp. joins the Kubra EZ-Pay Retail Cash Payments Network to offer customers a new financial service in its stores. The service allows customers to pay their bills in cash at any of the 2,000+ Rite Aid locations.

Customers use the service through a personalized and reusable barcode, found on either their printed bill or their biller’s website. They use the barcode to pay the bill in cash at a Rite Aid store and the payment is authenticated in real time.
 
1-800-FLOWERS.COM Acquires Things Remembered®
1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. expanded its leadership position and product offerings through adding personalized gifts from Things Remembered to its e-commerce platform. Things Remembered offers personalized men’s and women’s jewelry, drinkware, home décor, business gifts and awards, and wedding essentials, which will now be available through 1-800-Flowers.com.

This expansion of the personalized gifting platform was designed to complement the offerings already available to customers. From a technology standpoint, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM showcased the ability of its e-commerce store to seamlessly incorporate products from complimentary brands.
 
Texas Roadhouse Names New President
Texas Roadhouse promoted Gina Tobin from chief learning and culture officer to president. Tobin served in various roles within the company during her 27-year tenure.

As the new president, Tobin will keep her current duties covering food, service, training, research and development, ad diversity and inclusion. She will also start working with the company’s support center.
