In our Loyalty360 weekly roundup, we will highlight a few of our Brand Members, their fantastic work, and their dedication to customer loyalty and customer experience.

These stories are just a quick snapshot of what these brands have accomplished, as their companies, programs, and strategies represent some of the best the customer loyalty industry has achieved.

See below for this week's Loyalty360 member weekly roundup, including highlights from AEO (American Eagle/Aerie), 7-Eleven, AMC, Natural Grocers, ULTA Beauty, and Caesars Entertainment.

7-Eleven Pilots Fuel Loyalty Program
7-Eleven has announced it is piloting fuel loyalty in participating stores, designed to provide contactless payments to reduce touch, drive instant savings, and enhance customer experience at the pump. Customers that are a part of the 7Rewards loyalty program will get a discount of 11 cents per gallon on the first seven fill-ups on all fuel grades, at a limit of 20 gallons per transaction. After those seven transactions, members will receive 3 cents off per gallon on all fuel.

The technology was designed with contactless payments in mind. Customers can either use the mobile payment option through the 7-Eleven app or Siri voice functionality, allowing customers to use voice commands to pay for gas.

AEO Re-Imagines Loyalty, Announces Launch of Real Rewards by American Eagle & Aerie Loyalty Program
For fans of American Eagle Outfitters, which includes the American Eagle and Aerie brands, good news arrived this week in the form of a re-launched loyalty program. The brand's previous loyalty program, AEO Connected, is now Real Rewards.

Loyalty360 had the chance to catch up with Chad Nikola, Director – Customer Retention, for AEO Inc. to learn more about the program re-launch, how Real Rewards by American Eagle & Aerie came to be, what makes the program unique, and where the AEO team sees the program headed going forward. AMC Theatres Updates Guest Requirements in Re-Opening Plans
AMC has shared plans on re-open about 450 locations by mid-July. Theaters will have a maximum of 30 percent of the typical seating capacity according to an AMC news release on the brand's website. AMC has also said it would block out every other row in non-recliner auditoriums.
AMC initially announced that it would not require guests to wear facemasks to attend movies, but reversed that statement, now requiring all AMC guests to wear them. Guests can bring their face masks, or they will be able to purchase them for $1 at the box office.

Ulta Beauty Has a New Take on Virtual Try-On Experiences
With challenges around getting customers into stores to test and try out new products, beauty brand Ulta is getting creative and re-imagining the "try before you buy" experience.

Ulta's game plan is called GLAMLab, a virtual makeup try-on app that offers access to more than 4,000 items. Users can take a selfie and digitally try on products, including eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, and more. According to Ulta, GLAMLab usage has increased by five times during the pandemic.

Caesars Entertainment Rewards Players for Face Coverings
Caesars Entertainment locations in Las Vegas are making it profitable to wear facemasks or face coverings in re-opened properties. Caesars has introduced a promotion in which employees randomly walk the casino floor and award players a $20 chip to gamble with if they are wearing PPE to cover their nose and mouth. The promotion is the brand's way of saying "thanks" to its loyalty Caesars' Rewards program members.

Natural Grocers to Hold its First Annual Art of Burgering Celebration
Lakewood, Colorado-based Natural Grocers, will hold its first annual Art of Burgering celebration throughout July, which will include a celebration of better-for-you ingredients from stores, as well as loyalty program discounts, food bank donations, grilling tips, and giveaways. Between July 1st and 31st, members of the brand's {N}power loyalty program will be automatically entered for a chance to win a Traeger Pro 575 Wifi Pellet Grill each time they purchase a combination of any three featured products.
