Foot Locker Releases Impact Report
Foot Locker, the New York-based specialty athletic retailer, released its Impact Report, which describes the Company's efforts to advance its environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities.

Instead, it is embedded in our fabric and fuels our ability to achieve our strategic imperatives," said Richard Johnson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Foot Locker, Inc. "Our inaugural Impact Report highlights our ongoing commitment to advancing Corporate Social Responsibility and building a more sustainable future while delivering meaningful impact for all our stakeholders."
 
PAR Acquires Loyalty Provider Punchh
PAR Technology Corporation, a global provider of restaurant software, announced that it has acquired Punchh, a loyalty and guest engagement solutions, for approximately $500 million paid in cash and shares of PAR common stock to Punchh stockholders. This acquisition makes PAR a unified commerce cloud platform for enterprise restaurants and positions PAR to lead the industry with integrated point-of-sale, back office, payment and guest engagement solutions.

“Today there is a conflict between restaurants and technology,” says Savneet Singh, PAR Technology Corporation CEO & President. “The quantity of new software applications is making it difficult for restaurants to navigate complex integration networks and taking away from focusing on their guests.”
 
Pollo Campero Celebrates 50th Anniversary in April
Pollo Campero, the fast service chicken restaurant founded in 1971 in Guatemala, celebrates its 50th anniversary in April with a month of 50%-off deals.

Pollo Campero started as a small family-owned restaurant, using recipes passed down through generations to make Pollo Campero's famously flavorful hand-breaded, seasoned-to-perfection fried chicken and citrus-marinated grilled chicken. DoorDash Announces Plan To Give $1,000,000
DoorDash announced details of a new effort to support Dashers and the community organizations they care about. For every 25 deliveries a Dasher completes between April 5 and April 18, they will be entered for a chance to be one of 10 Dashers to receive $50,000 cash, and will additionally have the opportunity to select a charity to receive $50,000* for a total of $1 million in contributions.

"Over the past year, Dashers have played an important role in our neighborhoods, connecting customers and community members to essential items, groceries, and meals, and enabling restaurants to adapt their services to meet the demands of a COVID-19 world," Sueli Shaw, Head of Social Impact at DoorDash said. "To celebrate all that delivery drivers have done for our communities, DoorDash is excited to continue our commitment to giving back to Dashers and the causes they care about."
