Comcast Makes More Than Two Dozen More Entertainment Networks and Subscription Video Services Available for Free
Comcast has announced that it has made on-demand programming for more than two dozen of its networks and subscription services available on Xfinity X1 and Flex, that are free in the coming weeks. “All year round, we provide our customers with a wide variety of diverse and in-language programming and we're happy to work with our partners to make a selection available for free,” said Rebecca Heap in a Comcast press release, Senior Vice President, Video & Entertainment, Comcast Cable.
 
According to this press release from Comcast, to take advantage of the offer “Xfinity customers with X1 and Flex can simply say “Free” into their Xfinity Voice remote to explore the range of on-demand programming currently available at no additional cost.”
 
 
Instacart’s Adds New Features to Improve Customer Experience
Instacart has announced the launch of new delivery options to help those in search of delivery options get the groceries they need. These two options are Fast and Flexible, and Order Ahead. Fast and Flexible ordering is for those who want their items as soon as they can get them. Much like other shipping, the shopper will get an estimated delivery date, and they will be notified when the order has been picked up by a shopper. The second new option, Order Ahead, allows customers to place orders up to two weeks in advance of the selected delivery date.

Alaska Extends Loyalty Program Status Through 2021
Alaska Airlines announced it has extended customers’ current Mileage Plan status levels through Dec. 31, 2021. All tier benefits will apply other than the 50,000 bonus miles given to those who earn the 75K status. The company is also extending the trial status for those that enrolled in a status match between Dec. 1, 2019, March 31, 2020 to now run through the end of 2021.
 
 
Air Canada Extends Current Altitude Status for Members
Air Canada has announced that it is extending members’ Altitude status until the end of 2021. The company also said that for every five Aeroplan miles its members donate to a charity dedicated to fighting COVID-19, they’ll receive one mile towards achieving Altitude status until the end of April. Also, miles have had their expiration date paused until May 14. "Loyalty is a two-way street – certainly in good times, but especially so in hard times,” said Mark Nasr, vice president of loyalty and eCommerce at Air Canada, in a release. “Altitude members have shown outstanding commitment to Air Canada, and to provide some certainty during these uncertain times, we are extending members' current Altitude status to the end of 2021.”

Amex and United Will Match Your Donated Points and Miles to Help Coronavirus Relief Efforts
American Express and United Airlines have announced they will match donations to support COVID-19 pandemic relief efforts. If you have an American Express card and it earns Membership Reward points, those points can be donated to many different organizations, but the company is now matching up to $1 million in donations to Feeding America. Feeding America helps food banks give meals to families and children as well as organizes emergency food delivery and drive-thru food distribution locations. American Express is also partnering with the hotel chain Hilton to give up to 1 million free hotel room nights across the country to medical professionals who are working on the front lines.
 
United Airlines has also announced they are matching up to 500,000 miles per campaign or charity that provides direct relief for the COVID-19 outbreak. You can view those campaigns at United’s Miles on a Mission website. A minimum of 1,000 miles must be donated.
