Reduced Tables, Temperature Checks, Disposable Menus – California Officials Outline “New Normal” For Restaurants
California Governor Gavin Newson set into place new policies Tuesday, April 14, after restaurants’ stay-at-home orders are lifted. Some of these policies include taking temperatures at the door, servers needing to wear masks and gloves, reducing the number of available tables by 50 percent, and disposable menus. Newsom also did not provide a date that the state would reopen. “There’s no light switch here. I would argue it’s more like a dimmer,” Newsom said during the afternoon news conference, adding that the state would likely alternate between less restrictive and more restrictive measures over time.

Domino's Looks to Contactless Payments for Employees
Branch, the only challenger bank that partners with employers to help working Americans grow financially, announced an integration agreement with Servant Systems, the software developer for the Domino’s PULSE Franchise Office System. The Domino’s PULSE Franchise Office System aggregates franchisees’ financial, payroll, and other store information with Domino’s system-wide PULSE in-store order entry system (PULSE).
Current store payment systems demand large quantities of cash on-site, which can lead to higher levels of theft, loss, and administrative time. With Branch, Domino’s franchise owners can instantly pay employees wages, tips, and mileage onto the Branch digital wallet and debit card, without requiring pre-funding, cash reserves, or changes to payroll.
