DoorDash Announces Loyalty Program, Revamped Mobile App, and New Tools for Restaurants and Delivery Drivers
DoorDash has introduced a loyalty program that allows restaurants on its platform to reward frequent customers. The program is part of a series of new features announced by DoorDash, including a redesigned mobile app and tools for restaurants and delivery drivers. Through DoorDash Store Rewards, restaurants can create their own loyalty program, offering spending-based discounts like $5 off for every $50 spent.
DoorDash VP and Head of Product Design Rajat Shroff said the rewards program was designed for consumers who want to get the same perks when they order on DoorDash as they would in a restaurant. “The rewards feature is to help marketplace consumers become more loyal with their shopping on DoorDash’s marketplace,” he said.
Kum & Go Updates Mobile App, e-Commerce Experience, and Loyalty Program
Kum & Go, a convenience store chain, is introducing updates to its mobile app and &Rewards program to enhance the e-commerce experience for customers. The revamped app features a personalized interface with tailored information and shopping recommendations based on past activity, along with the option to designate a preferred store location. Additionally, the app includes mobile fuel pay functionality. The &Rewards loyalty program will offer a fresh look, granting customers the flexibility to choose how they redeem their points, such as converting them into &Rewards Cash usable for in-store or in-app purchases, or as a fuel discount at the pump. The launch of the new app and &Rewards program is scheduled for later this summer.
Limited Time Menu Items Return to Taco Bell in Partnership with Paris Hilton
Taco Bell is bringing back its popular Volcano Menu starting June 29, much to the delight of fans craving a taste of 2000s nostalgia. To add some extra spice to the occasion, the fast-food chain has partnered with Paris Hilton to launch a themed advice hotline called "that's hot." Customers can call 1-844-THTS-HOT1 to receive pre-recorded advice on what’s hot and what’s not.
Taco Bell Rewards members will have exclusive early access to the Volcano Menu starting June 27, while the nationwide release will take place on June 29.
