Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport Hosts the Chase Sapphire Lounge

The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club opened at New York’s LaGuardia Airport in mid-January and can be found on the fourth floor in Terminal B. The two-floor lounge includes designer furniture and artwork, as well as dedicated wellness rooms, game rooms, a children’s playroom, nursing facilities, and more. One of the goals of the lounge is to help travelers leave the airport experience behind and immerse themselves in more of a retreat atmosphere.

Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers are travelers by nature, and New York City is continuously topping the list of their travel destinations. As such, we’re thrilled to expand our offering to serve New Yorkers and visitors alike. With an expansive space, VIP touches, wellness amenities, locally sourced dining, and more, this new lounge at LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B reflects our dedication to enhancing cardmembers’ travels from beginning to end,” says Dana Pouwels, Head of Airport Lounge Benefits and Strategic Partnerships for Chase.

“This new amenity beautifully complements Terminal B’s commitment to elevating the experiences of our guests from the tri-state area and around the United States,” says Suzette Noble, Chief Executive Officer, LaGuardia Gateway Partners, the manager and developer of Terminal B.

Lounge goers can avail themselves of cocktails, mocktails, coffee, and more food options provided by West Village’s Joseph Leonard bistro and its next-door neighbor, Jeffrey’s Grocery. Additionally, private rooms are available for booking by Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers. The Reserve Suites by Chase offer cardmembers a white glove experience, including a dedicated suite attendant, a signature caviar experience, and an impressive reserve wine list.

In later January, Chase plans to open another lounge at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in Terminal 4 in collaboration with Etihad Airways.

MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy Coming Soon

Marriott International and MGM Resorts have revealed more details about their 2024 partnership, which will feature benefit-matching perks for those enrolled in the brands’ loyalty programs, Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Rewards, respectively. While a timeframe for when members will be able to benefit from the collaboration has not been provided, Marriott has released additional information for its guest program members. Those staying at MGM properties will be able to earn Bonvoy points, and various tier levels will pull in bigger perks, such as enhanced room upgrades for those at the Platinum Elite level and suite upgrade yearly in Las Vegas, discounts on shows, priority access to clubs and spas, and much more.

MGM member tier statuses will transfer to Marriott’s: MGM Gold to Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite; Platinum to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite; and NOIR to Marriot Bonvoy Ambassador Elite. The partnership particularly benefits MGM members as the rewards available at the corresponding Marriott Bonvoy tier tend to be more generous.

DraftKings and TUMS Test Fans Super Bowl Food Knowledge

Football fans look forward to more than the Big Game. The Super Bowl is also a time of tasty snacks and halftime treats, with overindulgence often leading to indigestion. DraftKings and TUMS have fans covered — the two brands teaming up in advance to test them on what people eat on Super Bowl Sunday. Through a DraftKings microsite, fans can “score big without the burn” by guessing the food habits of Super Bowl partiers. Participants have a chance to win a share in a $10,000 prize pool. The game is free to play, and website visitors can play now through February 11.

To provide potential game-day relief, TUMS will deliver a free bottle of TUMS Chewy Bites (restrictions apply) via GoPuff to those visiting the same microsite during halftime. Kicking off Super Bowl weekend, TUMS Prop Bites Food Casino at Circa Stadium Swim (Las Vegas) will be held on February 9. The pop-up event is hosted by DraftKings and TUMS and will feature a guest appearance by comedian Desus Nice. As the “official Prop Bites Tipster,” Nice will also be featured in digital and social media content.
