Natural Grocers Celebrates its Texas Customers and Producers on Texas Independence Day
"Friendship" is the official motto of the "Lone Star State," and Natural Grocers looks forward to celebrating its friendship with communities across Texas on Texas Independence Day, March 2, 2022. Customers at the company's 25 stores across the state will receive a limited-edition, Texas-themed, reusable shopping bag and commemorative sticker (while supplies last), along with robust discounts on local brands. Shoppers can also enter to win a $100 Natural Grocers gift card, and every Texas store will draw one lucky winner.
The celebration will feature products from Texas-based brands with discounts ranging from 22% to 40% off—a sale that will continue throughout March
The new kitchen center enables customers to place orders online or through a mobile device or an in-person ordering kiosk using Kitchen United's MIX platform and then pick up their meals on-site or have them delivered. Restaurant staff prepares the orders, with delivery service fees set by third-party providers.
"We are thrilled and proud to be the first Kroger location in Texas to launch this exciting and innovative partnership," Laura Gump, president of Kroger's Houston division, said in a statement. "'What's for Dinner?' is a question that's always on the minds of our customers, and being able to offer a fresh and tasty selection, paired with friendly service, is the experience we strive to provide each day. This partnership emphasizes how we continue to advance our 'Fresh for Everyone' strategy."
Target Testing Drive-up for Returns, Starbucks Orders
Target is testing a curbside service that would let guests get a Starbucks order as well as make a return to the store via a contactless app feature.
The approach, according to a press release, builds on using Target locations as fulfillment hubs.
"Our guests continue to tell us they love the ease and convenience of drive up, and they have been asking us to add even more of the Target experience to the service. Adding a Starbucks order and easy returns, while expanding our backup item options, will give guests even more of what they love about shopping at Target, quickly and easily," Mark Schindele, Target chief stores officer, said in the release. "Ongoing investments in our same-day services have built trust and relevance with our guests, while meeting their needs — no matter how they choose to shop."
