Giant Eagle Unites myPerks and fuelperks+ Members Under One Program
The myPerks loyalty program from Giant Eagle now allows customers to earn faster and redeem perks that help them benefit from increased savings. Giant Eagle customers enrolled in the fuelperks+ loyalty program will be moved into the improved myPerks program at the end of January. These customers will enjoy immediate benefits — accessing more perks than they experienced in the fuelperks+ program.
All customers in the program will:
Earn perks faster
Gain flexibility on redemption options (provided at checkout with maximum savings noted)
Have more time to accumulate perks (redemption of perks good for up to 12 months)
Experience more ways to reach Pro status — a top-tier status with more ways to increase perks earnings
“This latest evolution of our longstanding, popular loyalty program came from listening to our customers and recognizing that we had an opportunity to bring together the best of our two programs in a way that delivers flexible, meaningful savings for all customers. More than ever, myPerks now provides customers with the flexibility to redeem perks in various ways and clarity on which redemption option may be most valuable to them,” says Justin Weinstein, executive vice president, chief strategy and marketing officer at Giant Eagle.
Giant Eagle launched its first loyalty program 20 years ago and continues to make changes to meet the needs and preferences of its customers. To celebrate the updated program, the grocery retailer plans multiple promotions in the next few weeks, including giveaways and special experiences.
Citi Credit Cardmembers Can Save Money with New Browser Extension
Citi has introduced Citi ShopSM for Citi credit cardholders* in the U.S. to help shoppers find better prices through a new browser extension. When used, Citi Shop scans for deals and coupons, searching 5,000+ online merchants. According to The Citi Shopping Survey conducted by Wakefield Research, 35% of Americans report it’s too time-consuming to search for coupons and promo codes during online shopping, and 74% will walk away from an online purchase as a result. With the new browser extension, online shoppers can browse deals on apparel, beauty products, electronics, and more.
Enrolled Citi credit cardholders will get a statement credit, which can be tracked in the Citi Shop dashboard online or in the Citi Mobile® App. The Citi Shop extension, powered by Wildfires Systems Inc., can be added to Google Chrome, Safari, and Microsoft Edge browsers.
“Citi Shop is a great solution for cardmembers who want to save money but don’t always have time to search for deals themselves. Plus, they’ll continue to earn rewards like ThankYou® Points or miles on their purchases when using a Citi rewards credit card,” says Pam Habner, Head of U.S. Branded Cards and Unsecured Lending at Citi.
