White Castle's New Customer Loyalty Program Offers 20% Off
Since it was launched systemwide on Sept. 1, White Castle's customer loyalty program has provided value to customers who have enrolled. Now, the free, app-based program, called Craver Nation, has a new offer that will make membership even more attractive.

For a limited time, both new and existing Craver Nation members will receive an offer for 20% off all orders placed through Craver Nation in White Castle's app. They can use the offer as many times as they want to.

"Introducing Craver Nation in 2020 was a way for us to thank our lifelong Cravers and to invite new and future friends to give the Castle a try," says Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle. "It's an entirely free program, and we've been able to provide tremendous value to Craver Nation members with exclusive discounts and special offers, like this 20% off deal."

Since then, participation in Craver Nation has exceeded White Castle's expectations for the program. App downloads increased in regions where the program was introduced, and they were up 215% between September and November compared to the same period last year.

A Guide to Managing Customer Relationships
David Gargaro, Business News Daily Contributing Writer, says you might have developed some great products or services to address a need for a specific market, but that does not automatically mean your business will be a success. He says your customers will have a significant impact on how well your product or service sells. They care about what they're buying, how and where they buy it, and what happens after they make the purchase.

Gargaro says the growing power of the consumer means that companies must invest more resources in building and maintaining customer relationships. According to a recent customer expectations report, 79% of consumers care more about personalized service than personalized marketing, and 84% will go out of their way to spend more money with great experiences. As a result, companies must create better and more consistent customer experiences during every interaction with consumers.

Is Bitcoin the Future of Credit Card Rewards?
Ben Luthi at Investopedia.com says that recently, cryptocurrency-based lender BlockFi announced a new rewards credit card that will offer Bitcoin instead of cash back, points, or miles. At this point, the card is one of a kind in the credit card space, but it joins a handful of crypto-focused debit card reward programs that may collectively help disrupt the industry.

Luthi says cryptocurrencies are gaining popularity among investors and even everyday consumers. The price of Bitcoin, for instance, has been volatile but recently surpassed $23,000. Even major companies like Microsoft, Expedia, and Overstock.com accept Bitcoin as a payment method at checkout.

But while many consumers are curious about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, Luthi says there is also a lot of confusion about how they work and the blockchain technology behind them. Enter Bitcoin rewards programs.
