Amazon to Open Two New Amazon Fresh Supermarkets
Amazon is hiring associates for its first supermarket locations in New York and New Jersey. Both Amazon Fresh stores will feature the company’s Just Walk Out technology that enables customers to pay for their items without waiting at the checkout line.
The company noted that Amazon Fresh associates get the opportunity to cross-train across the store. Grocery associates learn everything from customer service and stocking shelves to running checkout and picking and packing online orders. Also, foodservice associates work in the store’s culinary area, preparing fresh foods daily.
Wow Bao Launches Virtual Kitchen Reward Program
Wow Bao, in partnership with Paytronix, launched the first virtual kitchen rewards program, Bao Bucks. The new custom loyalty program is designed to provide Wow Bao with a direct way to connect with customers, get to know them better, and to surprise and delight them with individualized rewards.
Bao Bucks, which combines DoorDash Storefront and the Paytronix-powered loyalty program, enables members to earn points toward Bao Bucks exclusively through the company website. The Bao Bucks rewards program is currently available for all orders placed online nationwide and in Canada.
Cathay Pacific Merges Memberships
Cathay Pacific is merging its Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles into a simplified program, and is giving members a chance to win 200,000 Asia Miles. The miles can be redeemed for flights on Cathay Pacific, hotel stays and more. Travelers will automatically be entered in the sweepstakes when they sign up for the rewards.
Current membership miles and balances will automatically be carried over into the new, cohesive program. The new program gives members access to more flights, experiences and curated product rewards.
