Grocery Outlet Expands E-Commerce
Grocery Outlet is expanding its presence in the e-commerce channel. The discount grocer is partnering with online delivery platform DoorDash, to offer on-demand grocery delivery from more than 398 locations across the country.
DoorDash customers can order groceries on-demand from local Grocery Outlet stores via the DoorDash marketplace app or website. All participating Grocery Outlet stores will also be available on DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program that offers members $0 delivery fees, on all eligible orders $35 or more.
Disney Explores Membership Program
Disney is exploring a membership program that could offer discounts on special perks to encourage customers to spend more on its streaming services, theme parks, resorts and merchandise. The program would resemble Amazon Prime by adding a commerce feature to Disney+. By creating a membership program, Disney would be offering customers more value while incentivizing them to make additional purchases thereby providing Disney with valuable first-party data.
“Technology is giving us new ways to customize and personalize the consumer experience so that we are delivering entertainment, experiences and products that are most relevant to each of our guests,” said Kristina Schake, senior executive vice president and chief communications officer at Disney.
Amtrak Guest Rewards Doubles Points
Amtrak Guest Rewards members can earn double points towards rewards like travel, upgrades, gift cards, and more when traveling during select dates this season. Registration is required to participate. Members and non-members alike will benefit from the promotion, with non-members being automatically registered when joining Amtrak Guest Rewards.
“We are delighted to once again offer one of our most popular promotions, double points, to current and prospective Amtrak Guest Rewards members,” said Vicky Radke, Senior Director, Amtrak Guest Rewards. “Members can earn twice the points while traveling in a fun, sustainable and relaxing way."
