A Refreshed Brand + Leveraging AI Helps trivago’s Users “Search Savvy” 

Global hotel search site trivago rolled out a new logo and an AI-driven campaign to engage travelers by helping them “Search Savvy. Feel Super.” The campaign first launched in Denmark and Canada and will arrive in the U.S. just in time for Christmas. The brand’s updated logo consists of a checkmark — a nod to finding the right hotel on trivago — and a smile, representing customer satisfaction at scoring a good deal.    

“The refresh is in line with our goal to strengthen the trivago brand. By combining our strong existing brand cues with a set of new, highly distinct, and memorable elements, we aim to cut through the noise and stand out in the competitive travel market,” says Jasmine Ezz, CMO of trivago. 

The brand is also leveraging AI technology to create “localized” television advertisements in 10 different languages while featuring the same actor, a new “trivago guy.” Voiceover dubs will reflect the different markets’ cultures. 

“Incorporating AI is a leap into a new era of innovation at trivago. AI enables us to produce and trial a variety of advertising strategies, allowing us to experiment more extensively than ever before. This aligns with our company’s principle of rapid testing and learning, which is ingrained in our DNA,” says Johannes Thomas, CEO of trivago.

A Night of Entertainment and Sports Presented by Michelob ULTRA and Topgolf

It’s Delicious: Home Chef Partners with Delish 

Cooks enjoying Home Chef’s fresh foods delivery service will now be able to make delectable dishes as the meal solutions company partners with the food media brand Delish. Subscribers of the customizable meal kit company will learn easy-to-follow Delish recipes using Home Chef’s ingredients.    

“We’re delighted to partner with Delish to offer a menu of achievable recipes that home cooks can have fun making for themselves and their loved ones,” says Eric Miller, partner and influencer director at Home Chef.   

For a limited 12-week period, 12 Delish recipes heralded as favorites by fans of the food media platform will be available on Home Chef’s menu.
