Bilt Rewards, a loyalty program that allows its members to earn rewards on rent and local community spending, such as restaurants and grocery stores, has announced a new partnership with Alaska Airlines. The partnership will allow Bilt members to convert their rewards points at a 1:1 ratio into Alaska miles, which can be used to book airline flights through Alaska Airlines and its network of oneworld partners.
In addition, the two companies will introduce another initiative later this year solely for Alaska Airlines cardholders. Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® cardholders will have a chance to earn three times the Alaska miles for every dollar they spend on rent, up to $50,000 per year.
“As one of the most loved brands in aviation, this first-of-its-kind partnership with Alaska Airlines not only broadens Bilt’s members’ ability to travel everywhere Alaska and its partners fly but also exemplifies our commitment to providing Americans with more valuable ways to earn and redeem rewards on their largest monthly expense, rent, and within their local neighborhood,” said Ankur Jain, CEO of Bilt Rewards.
“This innovative new partnership with Bilt will enable our guests who rent to get even more value from their Alaska Visa Signature card and builds upon our industry-leading loyalty offering,” added Brett Catlin, Vice President, Loyalty, Alliances and Sales at Alaska Airlines. “Our guests can use their miles for travel on Alaska and our oneworld and additional Global Partners to 1,000+ destinations across the world.”
