The grocery chain Giant Eagle and First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) this week launched a co-branded credit card for members of Giant Eagle’s myPerks loyalty program. The myPerks Pay Rewards Visa provides discounts on fuel, exclusive offers, and rewards for shopping at Giant Eagle and its affiliated stores, GetGo and Market District.

Cardholders receive a $50 statement credit for making their first purchase and 5 to 30 cents off each gallon of gas at GetGo, depending on the location. Users earn 2% back in program Perks value on purchases at Giant Eagle, Market District, and GetGo, excluding gas. The card offers 3% back on dining and 1% on other purchases. Fifty Perks are equivalent to $1 in redemption value.

“For more than 165 years, FNBO has maintained its commitment to helping to build strong communities,” said Jerry O’Flanagan, Executive Vice President at FNBO. “With more than 470 stores across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, and Maryland, Giant Eagle is the perfect partner to work with in keeping and building upon that promise.”

Giant Eagle is one of the nation’s largest food retailers, with approximately $11.4 billion in annual sales.
