Kimpton Partners with Literary Hub to Launch Book Club for Travelers
Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants launched a partnership with world-renowned literary platform Literary Hub offering a curated book club for travelers. The partnership includes seasonal, themed reading lists with books selected by Literary Hub’s discerning editorial team, and an on-property lending program for guests to check out the recommended books while staying at select Kimpton hotels.

Kimpton and Lit Hub will unveil each season’s curated books on both brands’ social media channels, blogs and email communications to fans and guests. Over the course of this year-long partnership, Kimpton and Literary Hub will also offer one-of-a-kind experiences like virtual Q&As, readings and more with both established and up-and-coming authors, publishers and local independent bookstore owners.
TGI Fridays Brings the Circus to Guests
TGI Fridays announced the launch of Under the Big Top, with ringmaster Alfonso Ribeiro. Fridays is celebrating the circus with over-the-top menu items like Famous Whiskey-Glazed Skewers, Oooey Gooey Mozz Stick Melter (a mozzarella stick grilled cheese), Whiskey-Glazed Donut Burger (Fridays Signature Burger between two glazed donuts), Giant Churro Twists and exciting circus-themed drinks, like the Cotton Candy Cosmo and Fire-Eating Fireball Margarita.

There will even be tents in the parking lots at select locations so Guests can dine outside and participate in family-fun activities such as face painting, live music, giveaways and much more. A world of wonder, spectacle and Instagram-worthy moments await Fridays fans at participating locations across the U.S. through June 2021.

GameStop announced that it has appointed Elliott Wilke to the role of Chief Growth Officer. Mr. Wilke’s start date is April 5, 2021. Mr. Wilke brings nearly two decades of branding, consumer goods and e-commerce experience to GameStop.

He joins from Amazon, where he spent the past seven years holding a variety of senior roles across segments such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Pantry and Worldwide Private Brands. He began his career at Proctor & Gamble and spent more than a decade in brand manager and marketing roles of increasing responsibility.
