BMO Adds Installment Option to Visa Card

The Canadian financial institution BMO has announced that its Visa cardholders will have access to Visa’s Installments program starting in 2024. The payment option allows cardholders to divide qualifying purchases into equal payments made over a set period of time.

“As the need for flexible payment options continues to grow globally, we’re committed to advancing a banking and payment experience for Canadians and merchants to meet their evolving needs,” said Visa Canada Vice President and Head of Product Dan Iwachiw.

About 45% of Canadian consumers have used credit card installment plans in the past year. Cardholders are generally charged a fee or pay interest on the outstanding balance.

Hilton Offers Hallmark Christmas Movie Suites for the Holidays

Hilton has opened three hotel suites inspired by Hallmark’s popular Countdown to Christmas movie series. Available from November 7 through year’s end, the suites feature holiday décor, games, and crafts incorporating elements of the movies. Every suit comes with a hot cocoa station and fully decorated Christmas tree.

“This is a great representation of Hilton’s commitment to delivering immersive and unforgettable experiences during every stay. Our collaboration with Hallmark allows us to leverage timeless storytelling to bring an added level of excitement during the holidays” said Matt Schuyler, Chief Brand Officer at Hilton.

The suites are located at Hilton properties in New York, Houston, and Chicago. The hotels offer a limited-time custom cocktail called the Hallmark Holiday Cosmopolitan.
