Norwegian Cruise Line Revamps Latitudes Rewards Program, Adds New Level
Cruisers sailing on Norwegian Cruise Line can advance through the company's Latitudes Rewards Program faster after the company revamped the loyalty program to reduce the number of points required for each level. The cruise line also added a new higher-level tier that includes perks such as a one-time free cabin upgrade.
"Today, we're announcing the enhancement of our Latitudes Rewards Program for cruisers, featuring a redesigned tier structure to make achieving the next status easier than ever before and a whole host of new benefits," the line said in a media statement.
Latitudes now includes seven tiers, including a brand-new Diamond status that precedes the Ambassador level. Additionally, the line replaced the Platinum Plus tier with Sapphire and reduced the number of points needed to reach most of the tiers. The only levels that remain the same are Bronze, which requires one point, and Ambassador, which takes 700+ points.
