Major League Soccer and Avant Release Co-Branded Credit Card with Fan Rewards

The fintech firm Avant and Major League Soccer (MLS) have released a co-branded credit card with special rewards for the league’s fans. The MLS Forward Credit Card powered by Avant offers rewards redeemable for cashback, MLS tickets, and MLS Store gift cards.

Cardmembers earn 5X rewards on purchases at the MLS Store and 15% off store merchandise. They also receive pre-sale ticket access and expedited entrance to MLS special events. Cardmembers can select a card design branded with their favorite MLS team.

Braze Adds New Features to Customer Engagement Platform

The Braze customer engagement platform has gained two features to drive brand revenue, the company said at its annual customer conference this week in New York.

Feature Flags allows brands to create a more personalized experience in web and mobile applications. The tool pulls first-party customer data from the Braze platform so brands can more easily apply it to customizing the customer experience. The company says Feature Flags can enhance personalization while increasing operational efficiency.

Braze’s new Landing Pages product is designed to simplify the process of capturing data on prospective customers. The technology features a low-code visual editor for building and launching custom landing pages from the platform.

Verint Deploys New Bot to Help Protect Customer Data

Verint has added another layer of privacy protection to its Open CCaaS customer engagement platform. The Personal Identifiable Information (PII) Redaction Bot is designed to protect sensitive customer data like credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, and dates of birth. The PII Redaction Bot automatically detects and removes such information from interaction data.

“With data privacy laws increasing across the globe to help protect citizens, brands need to comply, or they risk having damaged reputations and a lack of trust from customers due to the possibility of data breaches. And even if that data doesn’t fall into the wrong hands, it can still spell financial disaster from costly fines due to non-compliance,” says David Singer, Global vice president, Go-To-Market Strategy at Verint.
